Son Shine School is...

Lake Cities Christian Academy's Son Shine Preschool, is a ministry of Lake Dallas Church of Christ. Started by a group of passionate women, our school began as an idea to minister to the community, and eventually, this idea grew into a reality though hard-work and God's grace.

Our first and foremost goal at Son Shine School is to minister to our community. We strive to exemplify Christ's love to those we come in contact with through this program. Our entire staff has a heart for God and this is clearly seen when you walk in the doors of this school.

Along with a heart for Christ, the women at Son Shine School have a passion to enrich these kids with a strong early education. This program readies your child for kindergarten as well as teaches a bible-based curriculum. Our teachers are always revamping their lesson plans to cater to the needs of the learner. We are constantly looking for new ways to engage our students by keeping up with new ideas and technologies. The younger classes focus on letters and phonics as well as hands-on fine and gross motor skills. Son Shine School provides a rare, small teacher-to-child ratio, family-centered environment that will meet you and your child's desire to interact with other like-minded families. Our school is just that, a family.
